WAREHOUSE MANAGER – 1 POST

Job Description:  

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse  operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational  abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, optimizing warehouse layout and workflow, and maintaining a  safe and productive working environment. This role requires effective communication skills to  liaise with various stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of  goods.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity  within the warehouse.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure  adequate stock levels.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and  accessibility.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to maintain a safe  working environment.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to foster a high performing team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inventory transfers, fulfill orders, and  resolve any issues that arise.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools to track  inventory, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or  related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a track record of  successfully leading teams and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management principles, and best  practices.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks  and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with  cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and coach team  members.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures applicable to warehouse operations.
