Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Medical Laboratory Technician at the Ministry of Health Tanzania. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and interpreting results. Your day-to-day tasks will include preparing specimens, operating laboratory equipment, documenting test results, and maintaining laboratory cleanliness and safety. This role is located in Ruvu Muungano and requires on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
• Valid certification or license as a Medical Laboratory Technician
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques
• Experience in conducting tests and analyzing samples
• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording data
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
• Ability to work well in a team environment
