Position: Mechanic Vacancies: Four (4)

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the on-duty worker safety and security
• conduct a pre- start inspection and keep records with check list of the machines, tractors and trailers.
• Responsible for the accountability for the spares drawn from stores. Maintaining and repairing of the Lorries
• Identification of faults on vehicles
• Maintaining safety and cleanness at the working place and the job itself.
• Servicing of all vehicles.
• Any other duty that may be assigned by the HOD-WS

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Certificate in motor vehicle mechanic course, grade 1/level 3.
• At least five (5) years of hands-on job experience as a mechanic on the shop floor in a big motor vehicle garage
