Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Finance Administrator. The Finance Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations, managing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions in accordance with established procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Financial Operations Support:
- Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Support payroll processing, including verifying timekeeping records, calculating pay, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial policies, procedures, and controls.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Assist in financial audits and provide documentation and support as needed.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders on a regular basis.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and maintaining filing systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial projects and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, concepts, and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
